As part of our ongoing monitoring and evaluation of our grants we are pleased to share these stories about the positive impact that projects are having on beneficiaries in communities around the world.
''In a little over a year, 42 children were born. Three of these babies were born only a few hours apart which couldn't have even been dreamt about with the facility in the past''.
''Three mothers have safely delivered babies yesterday in a single shift. They would not have had the safety and dignity of delivery and postpartum care without the centre.''
''The toilet is very useful for young girls and it is very user friendly. We thank you EA Foundation''.
''Thanks to EA Foundation’s generous donation, Concern was able to rehabilitate the SC and construct a toilet block (male and female), all of which were finalised in August 2022".
''Improvements in hygiene have already been made at the hospital through the construction of a latrine block and the provision of various essential equipment and material that were non-existent before”.
"The patients feel valued because they have everything they need during their stay at the SC, which will increase their recovery rate. The rehabilitation of the SC has improved the conditions where patients are accommodated".
''I learned leadership as well as working in a team and making responsible choices in a timed environment. Understanding and talking to younger children in a way to keep them interested and engaged in an activity".
"I learned assertiveness and self confidence. I developed interpersonal skills and patience when working in a busy team environment".
''I now understand that I don’t necessarily need a linear plan in terms of careers and that I should be prepared to put in the extra work to get things back on track if I needed".
