We are contributing to a project to construct and equip four healthcare centres in the Kiambi region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and provide training to local healthcare staff. These facilities will serve over 30,000 people living in the area.
This project is being led by Concern Worldwide, which has over 20 years’ experience working with communities in the DRC. This project will expand upon existing work to improve basic infrastructure in Kiambi.
Construction of the facilities is progressing well and we look forward to them being inaugurated and starting to benefit local communities later in 2022.
